One of my Chinese classmates treated me to lunch in the city
since I passed my course.
Then, should I return the favor somtime?
Of course, I promised to buy him some drinks someday.
He took me to an expensive Cantonese restaurant.
The food tasted as nice as I expected, but it cost almost $90 for three people.
I feel sorry for my friend. haha

In the evening, there was a crazy Christmas party in our shared room.
Some other friends invited me to their party, but I chose my roommate's party instead.
They were dancing to loud music for a whole night and acted crazy.
I want to learn to dance but I don't know how.
I think dancing is good, but if people only dance for a long time, I feel bored.
I prefer chatting, drinking some beer or something.
In Japan, many of us don't dance while drinking.
Some do but i don't think its part of our culture.

In the end, I went to sleep around 5.
One of my roommates wes vomiting while i was in bed.
The other was missing.
You can tell how crazy this party was. haha

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. gloat (on TV)
= to show that you are happy about your own success or sb else failure, in an unpleasant way
2. be dying to do (on TV)
=
3. ruthless (on TV)
= hard and cruel; determined to get what you want and not caring if you hurt other people
