I went to the city to do another language exchange session today.
My partner was born in Singapore but used to be a Malaysian citizen.
He moved to Adelaide when he was young.
So his nationality is Australian and his native language is English.

His Japanese is quite good although he just started learning it three months ago.
He knows how to count numbers for different things very well,
which is actually one of the difficult parts of Japanese to learn.
He is also able to pronounce very well.

He is a good partner for me because he pronounces English clearly
and speaks at a speed that makes it easy for me to understand,
I had a good practice time practicing with him.
Four hours went by quickly!! haha

However, I realize my ignorance again.
I need to know my own culture and history more as well as my language.
I realize that these language exchange sessions are very beneficial for making me realize this.
It is good to be able to reflect on myself in these different aspects as well as in my language skills.

I hope this was good opportunity for him too, and we can keep it up together!!
