I went to a Starbucks to do another language exchange session.

My partner is going to Japan to teach English at a YMC in Osaka next April.
His parents were from Scotland.
So he said he could speak Scottish English too which I wouldn't be able to understand.
He used to work in China and Tokyo but
he is now working at a car company here.

After that, he introduced me to a place called Arthouse, and he treated me to a beer.
He used to drink as much as six pints of beer per hour.
He was a party animal and made people drink a lot to enjoy themselves
and get themselves in trouble as well.
He has a lot of stories which are related to drinking parties. haha
He doesn't look old and he has a lot of energy.
He has a lot of connections with people from different backgrounds.

Since I listened to English for around 3 hours, I was very tired.
I want to see the way he teaches English to Japanese people

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. reprimand (in a newspaper)
= to tell sb officially that you do not approve of the or their actions
2. drain (in a newspaper)
= make sb/ sth weaer/ poorer
3. fall guy (in a newspaper)
= a person who is blamed or punished for sth wrong that sb else has done

If you read this diary, please click on the three buttons below. Thanx!!
