I went to a Gloria Jean's Coffee for another language exchange session.
I wanted to go to this cafe for a long time.
I ordered a "Short Black", which was smaller than I expected.

My language exchange partner is from Vietnam.
She has been here for one year and seems to be busy every day.
She studies hospitality at a TAFE on subjects such as making coffee and drink.
and has just started working at a Japanese restaurant.
In spite of only being a teenager, she has a strong will and puts a lot of effort into her work
to achieve her goal.
I don't know why she wants to learn Japanese but she keeps it a secret,
but she seems to be interested in Japanese culture as well as Japanese lifestyle.

I realize that I need to work at something that I want to do with more passion and energy,
and that we need to make our lives busy by trying new things to become successful.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
