I have a new roommate and he comes from the Republic of Indonesia.
Since one of my roommates is from the same country,
there are two Indonesians in our shared room.
We have 10 people in total and it is out of the permitted range
since there are five in our room. haha

The Italian guy was leaving, but we persuaded him to stay at our place.
We talked until around 3 o'clock about this.
I really like this kind of situation
because I think Asians have stronger bonds of friendship than Europeans.
Europeans are more independent.
Of course, the bonds are not always good.
For example, it takes more time to get to his workplace every day if he doesn't move.
But we wanted to spend time with him if he says it is OK.
Since he prefers hanging out with Asians, I hope he has a good time with us.

To return to my subject,
he is still 20 and he is studying on a diploma course at a school in North Sydney.
He had as many as 5 to 7 bags when he arrived.
I was surprised he had so many electrical appliances.

He is very friendly and outgoing, so it won't take a lot of time to get to know each other.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

2. (on TV)

3. (in a newspaper)
