I went to some shops around Bondi Beach this morning.
After thinking of colors and sizes for a bit,
I bought one which is size 7.0 and white and red.
I wanted to get a light blue or light green one instead
but the only size available was 7.2.
If the size is bigger, the stability is higher.
But I wanted a challenge, so I chose one a bit more difficult.
Originally, it cost about $563 in total (bag $80, wax $3.5, leg rope $30, board $450)
but they gave me a discount ($395 for all).

I was very happy to buy one but things didn't go well.
I took a bus on my way home
but the board was very long, so it was difficult to carry and move it inside the bus.
I had to take a large space for 3 people
and I felt so depressed because I didn't expect this.
If the bus had been more crowded, it would have been inconvenient for other passengers.
I also found out that I had to take a train to go to the beach.
But the problem is that there is no train to get to any beach directly except for Cronulla.
I think surfers usually live in a place near the beach or carry their boards by car.
What should I do then

When I got back home, two Indonesian roommates cooked Indonesian food
for other flat mates and me.
They were fried chicken with curry taste and two steamed trevally,
which is a big edible fish of the jack family in Australia and New Zealand.
We ate some coconuts and melons, too .

From now on, I need to go to the beach more often to practice surfing

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. ducky (in a newspaper)
= delightful
2. varsity (in a newspaper)
= university
3. wrecker (in a newspaper)
= a person or thing that wrecks or destroys something
