2011.02.19 12/02/11 - WTF
My laptop didn't start properly this morning.
After that, it worked and seemed to be fine,
but I found I couldn't turn on the wireless network called Airport.
That meant that I didn't have any chance to connect my computer to the Internet.
So I took my Mac to an Apple store in the city.

Since I had to make an appointment and they could only make it in the afternoon,
I returned home once and went back to the store later.
The person in charge of helping me was very kind,
and he asked other employees to think of various solutions together
after doing as much as he could.
They found there was something wrong with the antenna.
He told me that this situation was very rare and I was just unlucky.
It will cost $130 to replace it and the screen needed to be repaired as well.
The cost for the screen itself is $700,
and the total amount of fee will be almost $900 including tax. LOL
I thought that I had better buy a new one.
Since I hadn't dropped my laptop, he told me that they would pay for the screen.
So I felt relieved, but when I got an estimate, it said $900.
Can I really get some money from Apple? haha

Anyway, I have to wait for my laptop for at least two weeks.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. freak sb out (on TV)
= react very strongly to sth that makes them suddenly feel shocked, surprised, frightened, etc
2. sledging (in a newspaper)
= (Criket, of a feilder) make offensive remarks to an opposing batsman in order to break thier concentration.
3. big-borned (on TV)
=
