I attended some orientation related sessions today.
Starting from 9:30 am, I didn't have any time to take a rest until 5 pm.
Even during the break, I had to find people from the same faculty or talk with my new friend from Bangladesh,
so I was very tired in the end.
I found that there were only a few Japanese people and a few people from the same faculty,
so it was very difficult to find new friends.
The university hall was really cold too. LOL

Here is my schedule;
- 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Official Welcome and Program Briefing
- 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Support Services
- 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Morning Tea
- 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Studying at UTS
- 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, IT Systems at UTS
- 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, Welcome BBQs
- 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Off-Campus Accommdation
- 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, Essential International Advice
- 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, The Aussie Workplace

There were many things to remember and my brain became saturated with new things right away.

So I really need to review today's orientation.

I'd like to write down some things I became interested in.

1. BUILD
It's an International leadership and development program at university which allows us to expand out networks,
gain leadership skills, and learn about different things outside our field of study.

2. ELSSA & Library
We can get support for our studies such as academic study.
Besides taking classes, I can study and improve my skills there.

I still have 19 sessions left from next Monday to Friday
including an international students cocktail party and a network café welcome.
so I will be so busy.
Anyway, I'd like to join and challenge new things at university!

P.S. Please look at one of my university's buildings which are going to be built soon.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. TBA (in a newspaper)
= to be announced
2. spread (in a newspaper)
= a soft food that you put on bread
3. romp (in a newspaper)
= an enjoyable sexual experience that is not serious

If you read this diary, please click on the three buttons below. Thanx!!
