There was a big crash in the evening just in front of my shared room.
My place is located on a big street with four driving streams in the city.
So it is very dangerous to cross the road when there are cars on it.
Drivers usually speed up on the road and won't stop for pedestrians.
Actually I was about to be run over by a car
when walking along one of the lanes absentmindedly,
but my friend helped me. haha

Around 6 pm, just after I took a nap, I heard a loud sound and some women shouting.
When I moved to the balcony, I found out there was an accident.
A car ran up onto the sidewalk and crashed into a telephone pole and gotten bent out of shape.
It was an expensive car, Mercedes-Benz. LOL
The driver was OK, but there was a pedestrian on the sidewalk close to the car.
She looked fine with no external wounds, but she was sitting on the sidewalk
and was not able to stand up.
She was talking with others calmly but might have broken her leg(s).
After 5 minutes, the road was closed by the police
and more than a hundred people came to see it.
In addition to that, the road was covered with many police patrol cars, ambulances and fire trucks.

We often forget how dangerous vehicles are including driving the vehicle itself,
since we get used to them,
Be extra careful to avoid spacing out while you're walking along busy roads, please

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
