Although I did my best, I cannot make any progress.
It is very stressful...
I am writing this entry to escape from reality. haha

As I promised yesterday, this is the second assignment during the break.
The subject is “The theory and practice of TESOL".
By the way, TESOL is my major.
It stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
It is worth 50%.

This assignment focuses on the features of spoken English
and implications for teaching.
It should be the equivalent of 3,000 to 3,500 words.

a Consider these two texts. How would you classify the chunk sections in
terms of conversational genres?

b Analyse the authentic text for generic structure and language features.

c Explain how knowledge of authentic discourse has informed the creation of
the pedagogic text.

d Explain the modifications that have been made to adapt the text to the
language level.

e Focusing on the pedagogic text, design four classroom activities which
would focus student attention on structure and language features.
