Some minor bad events have occurred me consecutively.
My feelings are a little hurt.
If I have a chance, I will write about it.

This is the last assignment during the break.
The subject is "Phonology and pronunciation".
It is worth 50%.

Task 1: Prosody Teaching
1,600-2,000 words

Section 1: Learner background 10%
Section 2: Compare L1 and L2 prosody 30%
Section 3: Evaluate resources 20%
Section 4: Lesson Analysis 40%

I think this assignment is interesting.
It is interesting because I need to know the difference between English and Japanese in terms of prosody: word stress, rhythm and intonation.
After that, I am supposed to apply the knowledge to lesson plans.
I hope this task will be enjoyable and that it will be helpful in the future.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. vestibule (in a newspaper)
= an enclosed space at the end of a carriage on a train that connects it with the next carriage
2. get over (in a newspaper)
= to return to your usual state of health, happiness, etc. after an illness, a shock, the end of a relationship etc.
3. bonk (in a newspaper)
= to have sex with sb

If you read this diary, please click on the white button and the pink button. Thanx!!
