This weekend was longer (three-days) since today was a holiday.
I heard it is a national holiday (The Labor Day), but people in Melbourne did not have a day-off.
Is today really a national holiday It's weird.

It has been cold and raining a lot since last Saturday.
So we cancelled our trip to the blue mountains. LOL

Anyway, I went to Hyde Park, the Botanical Garden and a pub with my roommates instead.
Today I did as the Australians do.

A small art festival was held at the park. We enjoyed some nice pictures
and shows on both sides of the street.
We then walked from the park to the garden enjoying time as it slowly passed by.
The trees were so high they touched the sky and and gave the illusion of a roof.
It was neither hot nor not cold, so it was the perfect weather for a walk.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. brekky, -kie (on TV)
= breakfast
2. wobble (on TV)
= to move from side to side in an unsteady way
