I worked at a large Japanese book store called Kinokuniya in Sydney as a stock taker.
It was a temporary job, so today was my first and last day.

At first, I thought it would be interesting
since my sections were “languages”.
I found some books which I used before, and they brought back to some memories.
I bar-coded books using a machine and then had to count them manually to confirm the number.
When they did not match, I had to recount the books
Sometimes the number reached around 100.
I really hated it!!
I guess I checked more than 3000 books.
I do not want to see any more books or barcodes for a while. Haha
They won’t hire students, but I hope I can work there on the staff some day
since it’s a nice place to work at!!

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

2. (in a newspaper)
