Today I got an extension for one assignment.
It is impossible to finish two major assignments in the same week.
It is my fault though.

One of them is so difficult, and the professor is a really tough marker as well.
Although most of my classmates are teachers,
he did not give any of us the highest mark, HD (High Distinction)

I asked another professor, who is a coordinator in the TESOL course.
She said she can give me a one week extension without any penalties.
She is kind enough to say so.
But at the same time, it is not fair to other students, and it is rude to her.

I have three more assignments, and one of them is really tough.
So I will be able to work on this extended assignment for one day after all.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. get off on sth (in a newspaper)
= to be excited by sth, especially in a sexual way
2. booty (in a newspaper)
= valuable stolen goods
3. lone (in a newspaper)
= without any other people or things
