I handed in one assignment.

I guess I was able to write something OK for the first three sections:
background, research questions and dataprocessing, and literature reviews.

However, for the last section, I had to talk about the strengths and limitations of alternative approach
in terms of the teaching pronunciation.
In addition, I had to write about it from philosophical viewpoints
such as the positivist and post-positivist views.

I thought I would be able to write it in one day, but it was not easy at all.
My time management is really bad.
Although I worked on it until the last minute, I was not able to finish it so I just gave in some crap.
I wrote down only three lines for the philosophy part.
I finished the hardest assignment, and I have three more assignments to submit next week.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. purge (on TV)
= to remove people from an organization, often violently, because their opinions or activities are unacceptable to the people in power
2. detention (in a newspaper)
=the state of being kept in a place, especially a prison, and prevented from leaving
3. grounded (in a newspaper)
