Yesterday they were chosen as the top three women in 2011 in Japan.

They do not look Japanese and they are not my taste, either.
Did I go a bit too far
Yeah, they will say to me, "you are totally beneath our notice".
Oh whatever.
Actually, if I see them, I will be very impressed though.
I rather want to know how they make their living.

The woman who put the tiara on won among 4000 candidates.
I read the news that she is just a salesclerk and that she is not a famous person at all.
She is going to attend the world competition held in Brazil.
She will begin to see...the more famous she becomes, the harder her life will become.
I am happy to be an ordinary person although I have been so busy lately. haha

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. zero in (in a newspaper)
= to fix all your attention on the person or thing mentioned
2. brush sb off (in a newspaper)
= to rudely ignore sb or refuse to listen to them
3. hoop up with O (in a newspaper)
= to meet sb and spend time with them

If you read this diary, please click on the white button and the black button. Thanx!!
