Today, it reached 39.8 degrees centigrade in Saitama, Japan.
It is equivalent to 103.64 degrees Fahrenheit.

It's the start of summer in Japan and the beginning of the rainy season.
Will anyone be able to survive this summer? haha

In Sydney, the temperature is around 20 degrees even though it is winter now.
So It is very comfortable to walk during the daytime if it is sunny.
It is like autumn in Japan.
Of course, it is under 10 degress in the morning and at night, which is cold.

Please feel cool looking at pictures.
I could not make it "thanks"to my assignments, but there was a big event called "Vivid Sydney".

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. dram (in a newspaper)
= a small amount of an alcoholic drink, especially whisky
2. bummer (in a newspaper)
= a disappointing and unpleasant situation
3. hunt sb down (in a newspaper)
= to search for sb until you catch or find them, especially in order to punish or harm them
