I just moved to new place.
I am not sure yet, but there are around 10 people.
There are four people from the UK, one from Australia, two from South America,
and two from Europe.
The four non-native speakers are very good at English too.
So suddenly, my life has changed.

Every Wednesday, they seem to have a big dinner together.
Last night, we had a Mexican food called Fujito(?).
They seem very nice.
The environment sounds perfect, right?

However, I can not understand what they speak fully...maybe less than 50%...
Of course, I can understand when I talk with someone individually
since they speak a bit slower and clearer.
But when they were talking together, I could not join in.
It was very very very frustrating...
How can I cope with this situation?
I really wanted to join in and practice speaking...
Ever since we were having dinner together, I have just been listening to them or watching TV.
I just try to talk with someone one on one for a bit when he or she is alone.

My life suddenly became very hard,
but I do not want to give up socialising with them.
I'm afraid they got a bad first impression of me...

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
