Earlier this month, I joined a free English conversation class at a church.
One of my friends had recommended it to me as a good place to study.
SHe said that the people at the church would not try to persuade us to join their religion

However, since I said 'I am 100% pure' in a game as a joke,
after class they asked me to join another class right away.

I usually turn to God only when I want good things.
Like most Japanese, I am not affiliated to any religion
I have listened to missionaries, but they have not changed my mind.

Do you believe in God

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. free-range (in a newspaper)
= (of livestock or their produce) kept or produced in natural conditions, where the animals have freedom of movement
2. vigilant (in a newspaper)
= keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties
3. menage (in a newspaper)
= all the people who live together in one house
