As I told you before, this week I'll introduce each subject I am taking in Spring term.
As international students, we have to take four subjects, and each subject is worth six credits.
Today, I had a class called "Teaching English for Academic Purposes".

"Teaching English for Academic Purposes"
According to the subject description, 'this subject is designed students
for who aim to teach programs that support students studying at tertiary level in English'.
It is also relevant to teaching in senior secondary schools as a pathway to academic studies.

I need to get some help for my academic English first.
I am interested in working on academic writing in IELTS, but I am wondering if I can do that.
Anyway, I could not understand most of today's class,
so I need to familiarize myself with the content. haha

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. hirsute (in a newspaper)
= (especially of a man) having a lot of hair on the face or body
2. scruff(in a newspaper)
= a dirty or untidy person
3. sickie (in a newspaper)
= a period of sick leave taken when one is not actually ill

If you read this diary, please click on the white button and the black button. Thanx!!
