My fourth subject is 'Professional Practice 2'.
This subject is what I wanted to do,
so I asked my coordinator whether I can take it in spite of the exemption.

Today, I had a block class from 9 to 4.
"Block" refers to classes which are going to be held intensively on an irregular basis.
I had to present my lesson plan to my classmates as well as my teacher.
However, the main advantage for this subject is the practicum.
This subjects mainly consists of 3 hours of observation and 15 hours of teaching.
I chose to teach in a college, but students also have a chance to choose to teach at a TAFE.

'Professional Practice 2 Language Literacy and Numeracy'
According to the subject description, 'this subject aims to extend the skills in the areas of lesson planning and implementation, and classroom management.
The focus in this subject is on supervised classroom practice and the development of a reflective stance in teaching'.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. foray (in a newspaper)
= a sudden attach or incursion into enemy territory
2. sheepish (in a newspaper)
= looking or feeling embarrassed because you have done sth silly or wrong
3. jest (in a newspaper)
= to say things that are not serious or true, especially in order to make sb laugh
