Today the weather was crazy: windy and raining heavily.
While I was studying at uni, I heard some strange voice coming from a loud-hailer.
Then I saw a group of people praying on the floor.
Judging from their appearance, I guessed that they were Muslims.
I heard it was a public religous practice.
This is a sight one cannot see except in a multicultural city, Sydney.

After that, they served dinner for students.
I got four slice of pizza, some fried rice and a chunk of chicken.
I also ate a traditional sweet for dessert.
It really tasted nice, but I forgot the name of the food.
It was a really nice chance for poor students like me.
Thank you very much and I am looking forward to the next meeting. haha

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. coup (in a newspaper)
= an unexpected and notably successful act
2. tipple (in a newspaper)
= an alcohol drink
3. topple (in a newspaper)
= to become unsteady and fall down
