Today I went to my college, but some new students,
all of whom are beginners, came to my class.
My lesson plans were difficult for them, so my teaching practice was cancelled.
It was OK with me, but what did I spend all that time for haha

I even read the paper called "Schema Theory" which my teacher assigned me.
It was an old one, but the theory was really interesting.
When teachers give a lesson on reading,
they tend to focus on the linguistic features instead of comprehension.
In order for students to understand the contents of texts fully,
teachers have to bring out their students' own life experiences first and relate them to the stories.

Taking up today's subject, two of my roommates left today.
One, a British man, is going to travel along the east coast of Australia
and move to Southeast Asia.
The other, an Aussie guy, moved to Sutherland, which is located in the south of Sydney.
Suddenly, am I alone in my super large room
Fortunately, another roommate seems to be moving to mine.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. nu (on TV)
= new
2. spirit (on TV)
= a strong alcoholic drink
3. commandant (in a newspaper)
= the officer in charge of a particular military group or institution
