It is September here in Australia so technically spring has come

Last Monday, I found my food was gone.
It happened at the university where I am studying, not at the home where I am staying.

There is a small kitchen with a refrigerator at the university.
Lately, for dinner, I put my bread and the spread I usually use in there.
Was I stupid since I trusted the people here?

It might not be a good idea to keep my stuff in the public area,
but we can use the refrigerator as long as we keep it clean.
Now I keep my jam with me, in my bag.
It sounds silly, doesn’t it

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. siege (in a newspaper)
= a situation in which the police surround a building where people are living or hiding, in order to make them come out
2. nuptial (in a newspaper)
= connected with marriage or a wedding
3. grip (in a newspaper)
= to hold sb's attention

If you read this diary, please click on the white button and the black button. Thanx!!
