I was on my way back home after I had made a lesson plan.
It was around 10:30 pm.
I was waiting for the light to change on a relatively big street.

Suddenly, something hit a part of my body between my chest and the belly.
At first, I thought I was shot.
Within a moment, I knew it was different.
Since the area that was hit was bigger, I felt I had been struck by someone's fist.
It was not so hard, but I was breathing with difficulty.
I found that the object was just an egg.
Someone had thrown it out of a car.
Actually, I felt pain for a few minutes.

I accepted rather than feeling angry although my clothes got dirty.
This is Sydney and so it is possible that this kind of thing happenes.
I suppose I have to be grateful since the man gave me something to write about. haha

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. wonky (in a newspaper)
= not steady
2. scrumptious (in a newspaper)
= very attractive
3. grow out of O (in a newspaper)
= to stop doing sth as you become older
