Today, the temparature went up to around 24 degrees.
Since it was such a nice day, I wore a t-shirt outside.
However, at night it was very windy and rained a lot.
I was about to be blown away on my way home and it reminded me of typhoons in Japan.

I taught a reading and a listening session.
I felt teaching this area is the most difficult.
I am not sure about how to teach it yet.

Let me reflect on my teaching practice with some feedback from my teacher.

I need to
・ask students more about the pictures in order to get to know the task
・have students read individually first
・set an activity to give students an opportunity to get the whole text ('Reading for gist')
・ask each one individually when checking answers

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. ally (in a newspaper)
= supporter
2. atoll (in a newspaper)
= a ring-shaped reef or chain of islands formed of coral
3. till one is blue in the face (in a newspaper)
= to try to do sth as hard and as long as you possibly can but without success

If you read this diary, please click on the white button and the black button. Thanx!!
