I found out that one of my former students is in Sydney,and we decided to meet up.
She was one of my first students when I first started working at a high school.
This is the first time we've seen each other in six years;
at that the time, she was only 17 years old, but now she's 23 years old.
We had dinner at a Thai restaurant and met up with a local friend after.
I was glad to see her grown up.
She is studying for TECSOL or J-shine, which provides teacher training and certification
for elementary school teachers.
I hope we can talk about the English education in Japan
and I also hope I get to teach her former students.

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. unravel (in a newspaper)
= begin to fail or collapse
2. Adonis (in a newspaper)
= from the name of a beautiful youth in GK mythology
3. wiggle (in a newspaper)
= move or cause to move with short movements up and down or from side to side
