We are supposed to read a passage called "Young people in a globalizing world"
for the first two weeks.
It was written by the UN, so they take a slightly negative position.
"The UN examined the relationship between young people
living in inequality societies and globalization.
Globalization is double-edged sword: it offers economic growth
but it provides social costs etc. "

I realized how difficult reading is again.
It is difficult for me to not only key concepts but understand deeply.
The contents are very dense and I think I will never be able to understand it!
But the passage is not boring since I am interested in the topic.

While I have some time to think of the concrete content after reading some parts,
I can never catch up with the story.
Can you read the passage deeply?

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. gluteus (in a newspaper)
= any of three muscles in each buttock which move the thigh
2. glutinous (on TV)
= like glue in texture; sticky

If you read this diary, please press both the pumpkin and the pink button below. Thanx!!
