Finally, I got the results for all my mid-term papers and take-home exam.
Why did it take a full month to check only 20 questions?
They are very slow, aren't they?
This is based on Japanese culture though.

Here are my results :
1. English for Academic Purposes 35/50 (Credit)
2. Language Development 33/35 (Distinction)
3. Grammar and the Construction of Meaning 40/40 (High Distinction)

For the third one, my teacher didn’t give me a score, but check marks instead.
There are some arrows and my teacher wrote in a few sentences,
but I don’t know if it’s ok or not.
Ironically, the one I spent the most time on was the worst...
Oh well, that's life.

Anyhow, I have to finish my final assignments as soon as possible...

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.

1. handbasin (in a newspaper)
= a small bowl that has taps/faucets and is fixed to the wall, used for washing your hands in
2. vandalism (in a newspaper)
= the crime of destroying or damaging sth, especially public property, deliberately and for no good reason
3.snapper (in a newspaper)
= a fish that lives in warm seas and is used for food
