Technically, summer has already starts in Australia, but it was very cold (only 20 degrees).
My friend gave me a lift to the west side of Melbourne.
We went to Docklands first, but it was under construction and we were not able to see many things.
They say it is like Darling Harbour in Sydney.

After that, we drove along the coast.
At Williamstown, the Yarra river flows into Hobsons Bay.
We saw some big ships carrying millions of containers from other places.
It was a quiet town and there were lots of black swans.
There were also a lot of public and private boats moored at the piers.

At Altona, there was a long beach.
Some people were enjoying kitesurfing.
We had some fried fish and potato cakes.
It was very windy and cold,
but it was nice to eat food looking over the beach in the car.

Then, we dropped by a Vietnamese market at Footscray.

The bad thing is that I forgot to bring my camera...Bugger!

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
