I've been only to a few places so far, but I found two places that I like.

My friend took me to the Shrine of Remembrance.
It was a place where people remember those who died in war.
The views are nice and they differ from every direction.
I heard that Japan dropped two bombs in Australia.
Japan is the only country to do such a thing here.
I didn't know this and I was very surprised to hear it.
I don't think we learn this in schools or see it in our school textbooks.

After we ate some Greek food called souvlaki for lunch, we went to St.Kilda.
It is a famous seaside suburb.
Palm trees give it the feel of a sightseeing resort in somewhere overseas.
Along the main street, people were really relaxed and were eating and drinking.
There were lots of people enjoying kitesurfing on the waves.
I really want to try it, but it must be very expensive.
I will come back here again when it's sunny and hot.
