I have an in-class reflective writing exam tomorrow.
So I will talk about it briefly to put my knowledge in order to get my thoughts.
(actually I am writing down this after I finished my exam. haha)

It involves the integration of personal experience and practice with academic literature and theories.
Some students who belong to Nursing, Education, Sociology and Business etc...
are asked to reflect critically on their practice in their work
in relation to a theory or an issue brought up in their academic studies,
and sometimes even to reflect on the learning process itself.

It is because these tasks are important steps in developing critical thinking and evaluative skills.
It also facilitates students' abilities to question their own and others' assumptions and practices,
and to think about alternative perspectives.

It is less formal compared to other kinds of academic disciplines, and involves writing
by using the first person perspective (I, my me).

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. shriek (on TV)
= utter a high-pitched piercing sound, cry, or words
2. lubber (on TV)
= a big, clumsy person
3. creek (on TV)
= a small river or stream
4. abseil (on TV)
= descend a near-vertical surface using a rope coiled round the body and fixed at a higher point

If you read this diary, please press three buttons below. Thanx!!
