I got the results of the presentation I made yesterday.
I got an A-.

From my results, you might think that is not bad, but rather good.
They were worth it because I slept only for 2 hours,
but actually my presentation was not good.
I couldn't prepare enough.
I spent too much time making a Power Point in order to make it satisfactory,
but I wasn't satisfied with my performance.
I didn't feel like I was able to manipulate my contents as well as the language.

The structure received an A, but the contents like analysis
and performance including language skills were some B+s and Bs respectively.
I need to work on pronunciation, clarity, stress/intonation
and my range and use of vocabulary/ grammar.
This is only 10% of my final grade, so it is not a big deal.
But I want to be "a big speaker"

Anyway, I have to work on the second assignment whose deadline is this Friday

Here are some new phrase(s) that I have come across in daily life.
1. tuppence (on TV)
= twopence
2. twit (in a newspaper)
= a silly or annoying person
3. brag (in a newspaper)
= to talk too proudly about sth you own or sth you have done

If you read this diary, please click on three buttons below. Thanx!!
